TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade opened in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
His background is relevant. It says the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. But better than a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys went the other way. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: FX, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker this new, that range is solid.
The Software
Available: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both matters. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. A lot of traders find it more natural after using both.
FIX API is offered for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently in the works. That should make the platform set once it is live.
What You Pay
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Straightforward. $0 to start. Works for beginners.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. So your real cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade does not.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not relevant to the average person. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
This is the thing Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. The point is the infrastructure is there. That says something about priorities.
Pair that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get makes sense. Hardly anyone at this price point have infrastructure at this level.
The FSRA Question
Now, the part you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.
But. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup costs real money. Dodgy operations do not invest in Equinix connectivity. None of this make it safe. It does factor into your assessment.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal makes sense is your call.
The Bonus
Tab Trade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Standard deposit match. You fund your account, TabTrade top up your balance. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before funding.
